Have you ever tried painting with your eyes closed?
As a form of artistic expression, painting has a function of expressing emotions. When a person is blindfolded, the description of the feeling is more direct and closer to what is in one’s heart.
The blind artist activity is part of the Well-being Games Club we offer at TWIS. Our teacher-counselor facilitates the exploration of self-consciousness to gain better knowledge about oneself that eventually leads to building a stronger connection between body and mind. By building this connection, our students can be more aware of what is going on behind their emotions so that they can respond calmly and in a rational manner.
