Pastoral Care Program

TWIS’s Pastoral Care Program aims to guide and support students, develop the “whole child” and make the mission and vision statements come alive. Our homeroom teachers provide guidance and support for students so that they achieve success in their learning and personal development throughout the year. We have a Pastoral Care curriculum that aims to develop students’ affective skills so that they will have the facility to manage their own state of mind. Students learn mindfulness practices such as focus and concentration; mental focus; overcoming distractions; and being more aware of body-mind connections. The Pastoral Care program equally places emphasis on developing perseverance, self-motivation and resilience.
