Grade 8 students participated in Chinese Language and Literature summative assessments, with giving a speech to the public in Chinese at our assembly hall. The topic of the speech is from the IB learner profile, in which students extend the topic according to their own understanding.
Some students explained the importance of receiving well-rounded education based on their personal learning experience; some students shared their reflective thinking in sports competitions and some students reflected on the facts of social media and discussed how to become a positive communicator… For many of them who are on the stage for the first time, this is a risk-taker, courageous and meaningful experience.
