This school year, TWIS has successfully organized 3 major concerts and 9 Teatime showcases. As an international school focusing on the comprehensive and systematic development of music education, TWIS is committed to providing a variety of ways for students to perform, in order to help not only performers but also the audience to improve their artistic literacy and appreciation.
As a demonstration of learning achievements in music education, the performing arts department organized the year-end TWIS Talent Show and the 1st Musician Competition, encouraging more students to take center stage and show their talents. From the competitive preliminary round to the finals, students who actively participated in the talent show and competition brought a visual and auditory feast to every spectator in the performance hall.
From classical music to pop music, from instrument playing to singing, from solo to ensemble, from solo dancing to collective dancing, our multi-talented and versatile young musicians applied high-level musical knowledge to demonstrate the attribute of the IB learner of being balanced. TWIS believes that in organizing competitions such as this will provide students with a more professional understanding of the performing arts, as well as a deeper reflection on their musical learning journey during the year.
